Gem of Hope
A rarity at its finest
There once was a gem so rare,
Sparkling with beauty beyond compare,
Its hue is a brilliant shade of blue,
And it radiated a light of golden hue.
It lay deep within the earth's core,
Protected by mountains, rocks and more,
A treasure so magnificent and grand,
That only the bravest could understand.
The people who knew of its worth,
Would set out to search for it, from the North,
To the South, East, and West,
They'd do anything to get it, with success.
Years passed, and many tried,
But the gem remained deep inside,
Undiscovered, yet not forgotten,
Its brilliance shining, still unbegotten.
The traveller came along,
With a heart that was pure, and strong,
He searched high and low, with care,
And found the gem, beyond compare.
The people cheered and celebrated,
For the gem had finally been dated,
It shone brighter than ever before,
Its beauty is to be explored.
The traveller, so humble and kind,
Gave the gem to the people to find,
Its light would shine, for all to see,
A symbol of hope, for eternity.
The gem became a legend, you see,
A story passed down from generation to generation,
Of a treasure, so rare and so bright,
A symbol of love, shining with might.
The gem remains to this day,
A source of wonder, in every way,
A treasure, so rare and so grand,
A symbol of hope, in every land.
