Gelid (adjective): icy; extremely cold.
*
If the heater clicks on, I'm done.
We know the reason:
It’s the winter season.
With this, I have my plans and fun.
*
If I am wrapped up in goose down;
Something warm and nice, like this one
Now covering me, I am done.
I look out at the wintery town.
*
Is it a wonderland I see?
Do I wait for the white,
As I sit and try to type?
*
As long as I can be
With my words, and get it right.
In cold and ice, I accept the hype.
