In moments of stillness, I find myself gazing,
Fixating my eyes on a distant point.
My mind quiets, and time seems to halt,
As I immerse myself in this tranquil joint.
I fix my gaze upon vast landscapes,
The rolling hills or the endless sea.
There's a sense of wonder that fills my soul,
As nature's beauty unfolds before me.
But it's not just landscapes that capture my stare,
Faces and expressions hold similar power.
In someone's eyes, a story I perceive,
Emotions conveyed in every glance and hour.
In my prolonged gaze, I seek understanding,
The depths of a moment, the essence within.
I hope to unravel truths hidden in plain sight,
To decipher the messages life tries to send.
Sometimes, it's an object of personal significance,
A memento or artifact that draws my eye.
Memories and emotions flood my being,
As I revisit moments that have passed by.
Or perhaps, it's the stars that captivate,
Their shimmering brilliance in the night sky.
Each one a distant beacon of light,
A reminder of the vastness, as time goes by.
In these moments of intense observation,
I lose myself in the beauty I behold.
I connect with the world in a profound way,
As the mysteries of existence start to unfold.
Gazing is more than simply looking,
It's a gateway to deeper realms untold.
So I continue to pause and fix my stare,
Absorbing the world, as my story unfolds.
