I vividly remember the allure of the garden,

The myriad of colorful flowers thriving all round,

The straight modest pathway existing in between,

Like the tightrope between heaven and hell.

The sweet ambrosia aroma teased at me,

The unbearable and unattainable scent wafting through the air,

I embraced my billowing desire,

disappearing with the wind,

Like an apparition in the world of normalcy.

The straight path morphed into an unrecognizable fate,

The flowers thriving within,

Heaven and hell intermingled into a perplexed design,

Such is the way of life.
