In shadows deep, where streetlights fade,
A boy was born in a world mislaid.
The sirens sang, the cold winds blew,
A life of struggle he never knew.
He walked the path that others tread,
Where dreams were crushed and hopes were dead.
The gang, a family, taught him lies,
But in his heart, a fire still tries.
Each step he took, a battle fought,
Against the world that life had wrought.
The streets were loud, the nights were long,
But inside, his soul was strong.
One day he saw a different road,
A path where kindness softly flowed.
The chains that held him, tight and deep,
Were shattered by the promises he'd keep.
He walked away, though fear remained,
From all he'd known, the ties were strained.
The gang would call, the pressure strong,
But in his heart, he knew he'd belong—
To a future bright, to hope anew,
Where he could rise, and break right through.
With every step, the weight grew light,
He found his strength, he found his fight.
The boy who’d walked the darkest way,
Had found the light to guide his day.
No longer bound by what was past,
He left behind that life at last.
And in his eyes, the world did see,
A boy reborn, a soul set free.
