My love, I see you

Through the abstract painting of the future

Each brush stroke defines your features

Though time hasn't introduced us yet

I see

Your chiseled chin holding your smile

A smile that's like the sun feeding

The love that grows within me

Your personality unlocks

The cage my true self resides in

setting me free

your calmness eases my storms

peace rains on me

I can hear you

Through the many chaotic soundwaves

Your laughter pierced through

filling my ears like water

The vibration from your voice shouts

I'm coming

Time passes like a sloth

Patience tries me

I yearn to experience your warmth

Forced to wait to say our first hello

Why does waiting seem like forever
