Future imagination

What future holds don't know

Where drones have now begun to hum,

No more the sound of engines drum,

The stars blink down on mirrored steel,

A world reshaped by thought and will.

The oceans glow with gardens deep,

Where corals sing and circuits sleep,

Machines that breathe, and roots that talk,

And towers grown from seeds that walk.

No child goes hungry alone,

A thousand voices in each home,

Earth's languages are combined,

In pulses sent through light and time.

We walk on moons, and dive through Mars,

Our memories encoded stars.

The past a ghost, the wars a myth,

Forgiveness carved in data glyphs.

Still, we proceed hand in hand

Through fields where augmented winds blow,

And poets write in code and clay,

The dreams of this, a brighter day.
