Just another calendar day
Dinner delivered from Delmonico’s
The reasonable way
To celebrate self-love.
So, I bought myself chocolates
Two dozen roses, bright red.
Bottle of chilled champagne,
I’m set for the long night ahead.
Purring cat in my lap who approves.
