Funky Monkey Snow

First time he ever seen snow

Funky Monkey Snow

He saw snow fall,

stared at the sky,

mouth wide open,

as if the clouds lied.

He caught a flake,

screamed in delight,

jumped up once,

nearly took flight.

He grabbed a handful,

sniffed it quick,

licked it twice,

said this is sick.

He rolled around,

legs in a mess,

snow in his fur,

chaos at best.

His friends stood back,

unsure what to feel,

he flapped and squealed,

like a spinning wheel.

He tried a snowball,

dropped it fast,

blamed the trees,

eyes wide and glassed.

He slipped, he slid,

he tumbled low,

a funky monkey,

discovering snow.
