Full of Vitality

I Used to be Peppy

I wrote this, created out of my dreams from my DNA of my brain.

Full of vitality,

Peppy is an informal adjective that means full of vitality, bouncy, or energetic.

adjective informal peppy (adjective) peppier (comparative adjective) peppiest (superlative adjective) lively and high-spirited: "stickers bearing peppy slogans"

Full of vitality,

I used to be peppy.

I used to be spontaneous.

I used to jump at the moment.

I used to work all hours.

I used to go to college.

I used to be happy.

I used to shout for glee.

What happened to me?

I am no longer peppy

Or shouting with glee,

Nor spontaneously laughing,

Or talking,

Sporadically

How many other peeps

Feel like they sleep,

Even when they are awake?

For heaven’s sake,

Maybe we are too late,

I see the light,

In my sight,

I awake,

To shake

The blues,

The light,

Of the sun,

The moon,

The stars.

The wars

Kill.

The wars mane,

And make is ill

As we continue day by day,

Of our messed up world

Of crooks and liars

And thieves,

To steal from the meek,

Whom they think are weak

The meek will Inherit the earth

The earth spins around town

The earth spins all around

We look at each other

Some folks smother others.

Some folks love others.

Some hate others.

Some steal from the poor.

Some stand on time,

Full of hate and no time

To love humanity.

So, they murder,

They hate,

It’s not too late

To look around.

Stand up to the evil demons

Of time and space.

It’s not too late

To go above the sleeping goons

Of hate, destruction and looney tunes,

Of greed,

Of bad seeds.

We hold our bow and arrow

To borrow

A little violence for a few days

To shoot the arrows to all the

Crooks and liars and thieves.

The day will come

To some,

But not all

As the patriarchal male

So stale,

And mean,

With No soul,

No thoughts but how they scheme,

Genocide and murder of the meek

They call us weak.

Most sit in awe

Of how they squeak

To all.

We are not weak

At All.

We are poor, strong and so

Into shooting bows and arrows

To the mean,

And their schemes,

Of chaos,

Destruction,

Death.

Shoot the bow and arrow

To their stealth of wealth.

Shoot the arrow steady.

Don’t miss the chance

To throw them out on their ass.

The good will reign again.

The sun will shine again.

We will be peppy

And happy.

We will dance to the tune

Of a new moon,

A new sun,

New rainbows,

The shadow people will be gone

The crooks will be far away,

Fly away to the other side of time,

Far away,

We can now be peppy again today.
