Why,

You taste of auroras, dear one.

Can love be frozen, as I crave for you to play into the rays of the nightly song?

I cannot hear you but am forever lost in your radiant waves.

Hold me within every breath you make.

I cannot embrace without the hope of your voice, finding me here.

I am winter, yet you are the storm, please dance with me.

Frozen.

Reborn.

The hollowness of leaves swims between the trees.

Quiet is a floral’s hum and the cadence of the stinging bees.

Promise me you will breathe, the hymns of wicked ice squalls.

Crack then flow, we are but the mere glow, flickering beneath the snowfall.

Do not forget me, for we are all but the frozen memories.

So, let’s play where no one hears,

As we drink in the silence of frozen years.

Poetry is my first love, and writing words onto paper is my therapy. Maybe my submissions will make you feel something, too.

If you find something in my words, then it is my pleasure.
