From the Ashes
"Let these flames ensnare you And allow yourself to crumble. From the Ashes, you will rise"

The walls of reality
Come burning down
As you stand in the center
Being scorched by the
Embers of everything you believed to be true.
In that moment,
choices, fears, doubts and memories
Press up against your cheek
Hot—begging for your attention, all at once.
Darling,
Let these flames ensnare you
And allow yourself to crumble.
From the Ashes, you will rise
A stronger self,
Your spine more resolute
Your heart, determined
You will know exactly what to do,
When you rise from what others call ruin
And you call home.
