From Solitude to Community: My Journey on Foot
"A Path from Loneliness to Belonging"

"I started walking alone toward my destination, but along the way, people began connecting with me, and it became a community"
When strolling alone, one experiences a profound sense of loneliness. It's time to reflect on your personal accomplishments. While I left home wanting to escape the unknown desert, I instead received invitations to explore myself and learn about solitude. I never expected that my walk would become a communal walk with the potential to impact and alter the lives of many people.
The Solitary Start: It began on a bright, sunny morning the kind of morning that makes us want to get up and welcome the day. I got a bag on my back and some appropriate shoes, and I walked there, content to be walking alone with my thoughts. That's why my surroundings were lively but not overly loud, allowing me to move my focus inward. Each step I took was in sync with my inner drum, a mantra for a lonely man's journey.
The First Connection: It wasn't long before loneliness was met with the tenderness it deserved. Someone who recognized I was serious about the speed I had already set for him followed me at the same rate. I greeted him, and then we started talking about stuff. He explained why he was walking, which is a fantastic example of a man seeking solace after going through a difficult time in life. Above all, interactions and suffering, which emerged as a result of wants, took on a social dimension, and what had been a solitary journey became one that involved others.
The Growing Community: Oh, my like button was finally pressed. More individuals began following me. A woman training for children’s, a senior couple exploring the world, and a young artist looking for inspiration were all on the same route. Each newcomer had a unique scenario, a unique perspective, and a converging mission. Single strolls became a fun and exciting exercise for us.
Shared Goals & Collective Growth: By banding together, our prospects were reduced because we were a large group. What was previously performed independently becomes a communal effort with the addition of encouragement. We created milestones and were glad for them in every adversity we faced, whether it was a looming hill or a sudden downpour of rain. This vitality enabled the gang to progress, and every single member was playing on the same team.
The Power of Community: After weeks of being together, it became clear that the group was gradually evolving into a form of commune. Not only was the path the same, but we shared our aspirations, anxieties, and ambitions as we traveled. The solo purpose I had set out with was replaced by a community mission to get to where we are going as a group, united and more linked than we could have imagined.
This transition from seclusion to interaction was an extremely crucial lesson for me. I realized that, while being alone and walking by myself gives me a sense of freedom, walking with a group makes you feel like you're part of a community. The expression "It is not the destination that matters but the company's end route" describes Doodle and his buddies' experience.
A New Perspective: When we arrived, it was difficult to think of everyone as strangers or ordinary passengers on board, but rather as members of a family. This led to the formation of friendships that will last a lifetime, new experiences that provided us with stories to share, and an unbreakable unity. When I began my search for ways to seek privacy merely to think, I was fortunate to discover the societal value of such support.
Walking alone was only the beginning of it all. Those I met along the journey turned my self-walk into a walk with others, demonstrating the power of human bonding. When I reflect on this sightseeing, I realize that the true destination was not sites of interest but a community.
