From One: Two

A Pain of Parting Nonet

No longer whispering but shouting

What does my heart say to you?

Ripples course! Muscles tear. PAIN

Body yielding (still us!)

One push more.... there! You.

Now no longer

We. I look

and find

Me.

Woohoo a unique and optimistic one Judey. Brilliant interpretation- and those last lines about when you look you now find ME! Charming and poignant. So glad you shared it with me! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Beautiful. Learning to trust the heart to find yourself can be both scary and hard. I felt this poem so hard

Ooooh. Every single poem I've read for this challenge has been absolutely brilliant, thus far. I am now feeling the heat against my own first entry lol. This is just another one to add to the hard-to-choose-from pile. I love how you used the formatting to give it extra life, despite the constraints of the word count. Well done, Judey!
