Healing Wounds: A Call to Action

In the heart of steel and smoke,

Where factories hum and engines choke,

A symphony of progress plays,

Yet silence cloaks the dying days.

The skies, once blue, now dance in gray,

As industries rise, nature slips away.

A bitter breath of carbon sighs,

While whispered dreams of greenwood die.

The rivers weep with poisoned tears,

Their crystal banks now stained with fears.

What once was full of life and song,

Is turned to waste, and it feels so wrong.

Forests fall to the cold, hard blade,

As concrete jungles grow unafraid.

Each tree that falls, each creature lost,

Mourns the beauty—what a heavy cost.

The icebergs weep in distant seas,

Their ancient strength shattered by our pleas.

As oceans rise and storms collide,

The earth protests; it cannot hide.

We chase the gold of fleeting gain,

Ignoring signs of nature's pain.

Yet in our quest, we too must feel,

The growing scars that we congeal.

But hope can spark in ashes gray,

For hearts united, a brighter way.

If we can change, if we can strive,

Together we can help her thrive.

To heal the wounds, to mend the scars,

To bring back sunlight, to count the stars.

Let’s turn the tide, let’s plant the seed,

For Earth is home, and she is in need.

With every choice, with every stand,

We hold the future in our hand.

So heed the call, let’s make it right,

For the earth’s embrace is our guiding light.
