From Cringe to Cupid

A Tale of Two Weirdos Meant to Be

By Tale WeaverPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

You snort when you laugh, I trip when I walk,

You talk to the plants, I argue with chalk.

You dance like a noodle, I sing off-key,

Yet somehow, you’re perfect—at least for me.

_ _ _

Your socks never match, your jokes make me groan,

I mumble to cats when I’m home alone.

Your playlists are chaos, my snacks are bizarre,

Yet here we are, and here we are!

_ _ _

You dip fries in ice cream? That’s kind of obscene—

But I eat pizza with ketchup, so call it routine.

You overthink texts, I forget to reply,

But somehow, together, we just get by.

_ _ _

They say love is patient, they say love is kind,

But maybe love’s weird, and maybe love’s blind.

Two odd little puzzle pieces askew—

Yet somehow, some way, I fit into you.

_ _ _

So here’s to the cringe, the quirks, and the fun,

Two lovable weirdos whose hearts beat as one.
