You make me happy when I think of you.

You give me courage, and show me what I really can do.

You are a true friend, my guider, my adviser.

You give me strength, and you make me wiser.

You are a part of my soul like my siblings are,

Like how the dark night is fixed with one bright star,

Making me laugh, and brightening me with a smile,

Your existence by my side is truly worthwhile.

You lighten my world when I am down.

You make me smile replacing my frown.

To me, you are very close and very dear.

I'm glad you are here changing the atmosphere.

You are always there for me when I am in need,

Together we make memories with joyous deeds.

You're precious to me like the king's beautiful crown,

Because of you my happiness never wears down.

We don't always agree with the same opinion,

But did you know you're my best companion?

Sometimes we undergo everlasting fights,

In the end, we both make each other realize our rights.

You might not always give me a positive influence at times,

together we may commit many sins and crimes.

Sometimes we get peer pressured by each other,

But stop to say sorry and correct one another.

To you, I am an open book diary;

All my thoughts and struggles are in your mind's library.

We both know each others problems and concerns,

We help each other by taking our turns.
