Friendship, a bond so pure

A connection deep and true

It's the laughter and the tears

And the memories we pursue

It's the ones who know us best

And accept us as we are

The ones who lift us up

When we've gone too far

It's the ones who stand by us

Through thick and thin

The ones who are always there

To let us in

Friendship is a treasure

A gift that's hard to find

But when you have it, hold on tight

For it is truly one of a kind

It's the ones who make us laugh

And wipe away our tears

It's the ones who understand

And calm our deepest fears

Friendship is not always easy

It takes time and effort to maintain

But the reward is worth it

For it brings joy and refrain

So let us cherish the friendships

That we have in our lives

For they are the ones

That help us to survive

And let us always remember

To be a true friend in return,

For friendship is a two-way street

And the love and support that we earn.
