Friends?
Photo by Brent Ninaber on Unsplash

Stabbed in the back once again ,

the blood pools below as the knife plunges in.

Friends they were supposed to be indeed

yet they were worthless when I needed thee.

Here I draw the line in the sand

with my own scarlet red blood from within.

You don’t deserve the breath you exhale

you belong in the darkest parts of hell

I gave you money, a shoulder, and ears

you took them and used them with no fear .

This wasn’t the first time you exposed

this flaw in your persona you are utterly cold .

With this shitty view is how I leave you ,

when I need help you’re nowhere around

when I need a shoulder you cant be found.

Now I know you are a worthless fuck

who will never amount to much

I’m done with this relationship

and I’m done with you.

You didn’t deserve to grow in the womb.
