sitting in a bright room
lit up with artificial lights
ugly office chairs
boring artless art

creativity dying
minute by minute
my soul crying
begging for freedom

one day I’ll be out
of this grey
corporate world
I’ll put colors in my life
surround myself with
abundance of joy

until then I’ll be here
writing poems
they’ll never see
about what I hope
to make
my life be
