Freedom and Responsibility
Poem about being a writer...

There is a real freedom in being a writer
That freedom, though, comes at a real cost
There is a sense of responsibility
A duty, even.
Even if that responsibility is to be true
True to yourself, regardless of the cost
To speak your mind, to speak your truth
Sometimes, the responsibility
is to be true on behalf of others,
who are just like you
Those who need to be heard,
but seldom are
-
Both the freedom and the responsibility
Are a privilege

Privilege in good hands, nice one buddy π
Wonderfully expressed and a spot on message. Love this, Paul ππ
With great freedom comes great responsibility. (It may not be exactly from Spiderman, but it's just as true.)
pretty spot on!

Amen. Great piece, Paul! I love this- itβs sometimes easy to get hung up on little things. I will occasionally sit with my finger on the submit for review button as doubt tugs. Thank you for this perfect reminder.
