Listen to the sound from deep within

Fasten your heart

Guard with diligence the fragile weapon

Tell your story and let it haunt you no more.

F A C E L E S S - THIS IS MY STORY

Many men knew joy

But pain has been my dwelling place for so long

Looking down upon my weary feet

Enduring miles of an endless journey

I mastered pain, endured it, channelled it and used it.

For once I thought I was good to go

Then I found myself at the crossroads

Took a deep breath with my eyes closed

Everything was perfect for a second

Until reality dawned on me.

I'm back to what I was running from

The rains poured

The petrichor filled the air

Refreshed for the journey

But I needed to relieve myself off this needless pain.

Just then I realised I was all along a prisoner of my own MIND.
