Free Palestine: Voices That Refuse to Die

When pain turns into poetry, and grief into strength

By Emma Published 5 months ago 1 min read

Beneath the rubble, the echoes remain,

Whispers of children, calling by name.

The olive trees sway, though scarred by the fight,

Still they reach upward, still they seek light.

Streets once alive with laughter and song,

Now tell a story of what’s gone wrong.

Yet every tear that falls to the land,

Is watered by faith, unbroken, unmanned.

The mothers hold photos, worn and frayed,

Fathers stand silent, though hearts have decayed.

But even in ruins, their voices proclaim,

“Freedom will come, remember our name.”

The walls may divide, the borders may scar,

But dreams travel farther than fences are.

Each stone that falls, each wound that bleeds,

Gives rise to courage the moment it seeds.

The doves may scatter when bombs are near,

But hope flies higher than smoke or fear.

For every grave that the earth must keep,

The world awakens, no longer asleep.

Children of Gaza, stars in the sky,

Your light keeps burning, it will not die.

From ashes of sorrow, a nation will rise,

Carving its freedom through tearful skies.

So chant it louder, let justice be seen,

Palestine lives, and Palestine dreams.

For hearts united will break every chain,

And voices unbroken will end the pain.
