In the quiet of a once-happy home,
Echoes linger where love used to roam.
Promises whispered in the softest of nights,
Now lost in the shadows, out of our sights.
Two hearts once danced to a harmonious tune,
Now stumble through silence, beneath a pale moon.
Photographs smiling, now dust on the shelf,
Memories fading, two souls in themselves.
Words that once flowed like a gentle stream,
Now tangled in silence, unraveling the dream.
Conversations turn cold, as distance takes flight,
What once felt like comfort now drifts into night.
The laughter, the warmth, the shared little things,
All scattered like leaves in the wind as it sings.
Two paths diverging, what once felt so right,
Now echoes of sorrow in the stillness of night.
Yet through the heartbreak, there’s strength to be found,
In learning to rise from the ashes around.
For even in endings, new beginnings may grow,
And from brokenness, seeds of hope can still sow.
