Known as the dance for beginners,
The foxtrot is danced by many,
Village hall club goers, or ballroom trophy winners,
The joyful hobbyists and the high-status gentry.
Want to dance? Looking for a sign?
All are equal when dancing in 4/4 time.
A/N: Well, the Strictly Come Dancing season is over this year! The show that inspired this short little poetry series. I hope you have enjoyed reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them! I think i'll include some more dancing in my life this 2025!
Once again, I must apologise for my absence. It appears that I have accidentally started an online writing club livestream in the last month. I am not quite sure how, but all of the pieces have fallen into place and I now lead a writing club on Twitch every Thursday at 6/7pm (UK)! I will write a separate article on it, and provide a link to anyone who would like to join! It's great fun!
