Four Walls

A Short Poem By Xavier Thornton

By Xavier Thornton Published 5 years ago 1 min read

In between these four walls,

I am surrounded by the blank canvas of brick.

I think, “Oh, how I see in you.. what I see in myself.”

Emptiness.

Nothing.

As sometimes I wish as if I could paint, just to mark your corners to be as beautiful as I imagine.

With different colors luminescing the different areas;

erasing all of the emptiness

That I have ever seen in myself..

Because I rather see four walls of color,

Then just 4 walls. ✨
