Four of Wands
Meaning: A moment of rest and joy after effort — the structure is built, the foundation secure. Traditionally, this card represents celebrations, unions, and milestones: weddings, homecomings, successful conclusions to ventures. It signals a balance between personal fulfillment and communal joy — the harmony that comes when creative or emotional work has solidified into form. Reversed: The celebration is postponed, the foundation unsettled. Something meant to bring unity instead exposes fractures. Sometimes this reversal indicates private success that isn’t publicly acknowledged, or joy that feels incomplete. It may also signal discomfort within environments that should feel safe — family, community, or creative partnerships.

Cosmic Garden Tarot
Oh, how the flowers flourish,
almost as if Persephone passed by
with a pomegranate, dropping seeds
and opening petals. An absolute riot
of flowers. But the wands look
like a fence. Is it to keep someone out
or a futile attempt
to contain the blooms,
already escaping their bounds?
