Oh, how the flowers flourish,
almost as if Persephone passed by
with a pomegranate, dropping seeds
and opening petals. An absolute riot
of flowers. But the wands look
like a fence. Is it to keep someone out
or a futile attempt
to contain the blooms,
already escaping their bounds?
