four letters isn't enough
for the "Love in 50 words" challenge

i've always been amazed how big love is;
it's an insult it only takes four letters
to spell out a word stretching over oceans and continents,
or fills up rooms faster than oxygen.
so we are forced to create sentences,
hoping they're enough to describe such a feeling as love.

Nicely done! 💕
Brilliantly said… I love the entire poem!💖
The Dani Writer sooooo concurs with the sentiment in this message! Where does love get off only having four letters? Who thought that was appropriate? Why haven't we done anything about it? Let's start a club 😁😁😁 Great poem Alexandria!
oooh, big fan of this one! Love the focus on language and its limitations to describe what doesn't fit in its confines
A concise explanation of love and everything it should be. Well done, excellent writing!
What a beautifully profound reflection! The simplicity of "love" as a word contrasts so powerfully with the vastness of its meaning here. Simple, heartfelt, and deeply resonant!
Use all the letters! Great work! Fantastic!
“Oceans and continents”. Lovely! 😊
So very true. 4 letters is not enough
