A Real but Very Short Story
We grew, We grew
in a secret place.
We hide, We hide
from the human race.
Our bright green skin
so shiny ,
so healthy,
To save ourselves we hid
so stealthily.
Snug and happy
in the ground
until they came
and we were found.
Snatched from our home
in the hidden valley
all alone now
we had no ally.
They grabbed us up
their hands so callous
We cried, We cried
Don't make us salad!!!
