Fortune Favours the Bold

A Reminder...

Fortune Favours the Bold

It slips through your hesitant fingers

In no time at all

When you

Forget to send a letter,

or are

Too scared to heed the call.

Decades fly by in seconds

Yet, You keep standing still,

Trapped inside indecision,

Chained to your own free will.

Where you don't tend to the garden,

Weeds will surely grow,

Slowly eating away at the

Precious blooms you used to know.

Neglect is a form of rejection.

Don't mistake inertia for delay,

Because with your input

or without it,

Life will always find a way...

When you reflect back upon the experience

In the Autumnal years of grey,

You'll greet your potential in passing

And realise why it could not stay.
