**Forgotten Letters**
In dusty drawers they quietly rest,
Old letters folded, once addressed.
The ink has faded, worn with time,
Yet whispers linger in each line.
Words once cherished, long unread,
Tales of love, of joy, of dread.
Promises that time forgot,
Moments held, yet now are not.
Each page a story left behind,
A fleeting trace of heart and mind.
Forgotten letters, bound by years,
Hold the weight of silent tears.
Yet in their stillness, they remain,
A link to voices once so plain.
A fragile bridge to days now gone,
In every fold, life lingers on.
