Truly Forgive

Forgiveness is not for them but for you.

Forgive what they say out of anger.

Forgive those who act out of hate.

Forgive whoever hurt you.

Let go of the grudges you have against people

Let go of the hurt people caused

Let go of the anger you have towards them

Allow yourself to give them a new slate

Allow yourself to forget how they did you wrong

Allow yourself to finally gain peace

Allow yourself to truly forgive

Forgive Yourself

You deserve forgiveness from yourself

You deserve to not be hard on yourself

You deserve to free yourself

You will make mistakes and that's okay

So please forgive yourself

You will have flaws and that's okay

So please forgive yourself

You will have regrets and that's okay

So please forgive yourself

Reflection questions:

Why worry about past sins that God has already forgiven you for? What are some sins you need to to forgive yourself for?

What is something you need to forgive someone else for? Can you finally cancel their wrongdoing and let them start off with a clean slate?

I was going to write a devotional poetry book but never finished it. And today I read a devotional about forgiveness on here by Karl Jackson :

This inspired me to share my work here. I pray it blesses you.

Forgive! ❤️ Great poem, God bless

  • 1. Why worry about past sins that God has already forgiven you for? How can we be so sure God has already forgiven us? Does he forgive all sins? Could I kill someone and not worry about it because God has already forgiven me? 2. What are some sins you need to to forgive yourself for? There's a lot and it still eats me up from inside 3. What is something you need to forgive someone else for? This also has a lottttt 4. Can you finally cancel their wrongdoing and let them start off with a clean slate? Nope, no way in hell

Forgiveness is a hard road to go down. But one needs to find it in something bigger than themselves. wise words dear Emily.
