Forgive and Forget

A Sad Poem

By Tami OsburnPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I love to lie down by your side.

I love the taste of you on my lips.

I love to see your face every day and the way you smile.

But now that’s all in the past.

You had left me with a broken heart.

You left me with endless tears every single day.

I would never be able to forgive and forget.

Because you’re always in my head.

This is something I will have to live with for the rest of my life.

This is some kind of disaster that I have to pull through.

What you put me through is something I don’t want to go through again.

One day, I may live again and have my life back.

For now, I would never ever forgive or forget.
