Forever Young at Heart

Love's Story From Childhood to Old Age

Forever Young at Heart By - Rajesh Kumar Giri

In fields of clover, beneath skies of endless blue,

Two children we played, a love young and true.

Braided dandelions, wishes on the breeze,

A bond that began, rustling through the trees.

Paper crowns crafted, kingdoms we would hold,

Secrets whispered, a story yet untold.

Swinging high, laughter echoing free,

A melody of youth, sung for you and me.

Teenage jitters, stolen glances across the room,

Fumbling notes, hearts blossoming in bloom.

Promise rings exchanged, beneath the harvest moon,

A love's tender bud, forever to bloom.

Decades waltzed by, seasons changing their hue,

Wrinkles etched softly, a love forever true.

Grandchildren's laughter, a symphony so sweet,

A testament to love, enduring and complete.

Hair turned to silver, a crown nature weaves,

Yet our hearts beat young, beneath the autumn leaves.

Hand in hand we stroll, with smiles that won't depart,

Forever young at heart, a love that's a work of art.
