Forever friends

I can no longer see your footprints

in the sand

Our names once written out with hearts

walking hand in hand

I watch the ferry boats pass me by

sitting on the dock

The waters of the strait

shadows of the mosque engulf me

remembering all the times

we heard the call to pray

then the cafe were we ate

So many beautiful days.

Memories so poignant

a friendship so real

all leave me with good vibes

and a heart full of feels.
