Everyone thinks i'm fine
but i'm not well
just forced to be ok
Everything is still the same with me
as you left it
those things, those memories
And now the situation is such that
You are their color and I am their picture
everyone is moving ahead of me
I am coming too
I often sit on
in some corner
I feel empty
but also this emptiness
I am forced to fill myself with cigarette smoke
everything is over
inside and outside of me
If someone squeezes it, they can see
I'm just alive
But I am also forced to survive

The weight of feeling compelled to maintain a decent façade while experiencing inner agony is aptly captured in this essay.

  • Echoing words of sadness. Well done!
