Hearts Astray

Beneath the moon, where shadows play,
We meet in secret, hearts astray.
A love so pure, yet bound by chains,
Forbidden by the world’s remains.

Your touch, a whisper in the night,
A fleeting moment, stolen light.
We dance on edges, close to fall,
Yet heed the siren’s distant call.

Though eyes may watch and tongues may speak,
In silence, it's your name I seek.
For in your gaze, I find my truth,
A longing tied to endless youth.

No walls or words can dim this fire,
A love that soars above desire.
Though fate may pull our hands apart,
You hold the compass to my heart.

In every secret glance, we live,
A love the world cannot forgive.
Yet in its depth, we rise above—
The cost of forbidden, endless love.
