This revolution is being televised, live streamed,

citizen broadcasted by and to millions.

Your presence is required.

It is required to keep the ideal of this nation alive.

It is required to rectify the sins of the past.

It is required to address the sins of the present.

Your presence is required to combat fear with love in action,

like the Buddha, and the Christ, and the Prophet would do.

Gather and march, if that is your guidance.

Quietly help the persecuted, if that is your strength.

Make your voices heard to those in power,

exercise your franchise and vote your conscience,

but do NOT look away.

*

Because if you do, if you are waiting and hoping

for the pendulum to swing

back to a more comfortable place,

remember January 6.
