I want to dance in fields of mud

And play in the rain.

For today I have young blood

And I'm feeling no pain.

I will play in the rain

Without my shoes

Because I'm in no pain.

No pain, no sorrow, no blues.

I don't even know where they are, my shoes

I would dance naked if I could.

Now since I have no sorrow or blues

It will be "I will," not "If I could".

Now I'm naked (I told you I would)

And I'm running through the flowers

I would never leave here, but I should.

But life in there's so sour!

As I run through the flowers

They are all my friends.

But I have to go back to where it's sour.

My fun has come to an end.

So, I will leave my flower friends

Now that I have young blood.

But this will not be the end.

Another day, I'll dance in fields of mud.
