see, I could honestly talk about your eyes all day. and that's just about the way they glimmer when you smile. because the sound of your laughter is like watching the sun rise over mountains and the moon light glimmer over ocean waters, but somehow at the same time. I could honestly talk about your eyes all day. and that's just about the honesty they carry within them. when you pretend that you're interested in what someone's saying, but you really just want them to stop talking. there's a difference between when you feel welcome and when you feel like an outsider. but you must know that with me you are always home.
see, I could talk about your eyes all day. and that's just because I have looked into them and watched you change right in front of me. from a page to a knight to a king to all of my wildest dreams come true. your eyes alone carry this big presence because you see everything, but you actually pay attention. because you are a powerful force of nature, and even at your weakest moments no one is coming close. I could honestly talk about your eyes all day because I watched you cry and I just had to be yours. because the water from your eyes is holy and you turn famines into gold mines.
see, I could talk about your eyes all day but that would probably get annoying as fuck. and yet I can't help but write about you anyway. because your eyes have seen things that the world is still unaware of and I like to see the light within you flicker beneath your lashes. I could talk about your eyes forever, but I'm already getting bored of rewriting that line. I know I could write about each part of you forever but the words would never touch a soul the way your eyes do. I could talk about your eyes forever, but it's just not the same as looking into them. and I really just want to see you instead of remembering you so.... -shrugs, and yawns- Fuck. I'm going to fucking sleep.
See you there?
