For the Love of an Aunt
How much of love is just the giving of attention?
In a world of endless sonnets,
I think there ought to be
a few more words written
for love of an aunt
whose greatest gift
(among countless generosities)
Is always having the time of day.
Yes,
Among all these endless sonnets,
I think that love deserves
a few more poems.
