Only if they conform to what you like.
Got your nose tucked behind a bible,
And your fingers are positioned to strike.
Spew hate all over X and Facebook,
Devour media spewing bald-faced lies,
Point your fingers to the left and to the right,
While the enemy sits pretty in plain sight.
Stacks and stacks and stacks and stacks of paper,
There's more than enough to go around.
You better not touch their precious billions,
Or they'll burn your lovely city to the ground.
They want you to argue over groceries.
They love that you hate each other's guts.
Keep fighting their culture war for them,
So they can continue to rob without a fuss.

I begrudgingly did some laundry. I scrolled on TikTok for far too long. My mother-in-law texted me first thing in the morning asking me to lunch or dinner, depending on how busy her day was going to be. My brain automatically went to "something bad must have happened." But no. She just wanted to get me out of the house, and it's scary how moms seem to know when you need something without you having to say anything at all.
