Public parents provide
Zero chance.
Echo chambers can make one forget the permanence
Of the internet.
The more minute the shares,
Your arrival is just another, along with
Firsts- steps, potty, words.
Be mediocre, no exceptions,
No exceptional mediocrity.
Less demand, less to share.
Better to share less with
A fleshless footprint
Formed in adolescent muck
Where moody tides shift earth
And erode the bliss
Of anonymity.
Cover your footprint- stick emojis on
Fresh faces
Stick it to Meta.
Ask your little ones if
The internet is right
For them.
