Flowers for Bees

A letter to an old friend

By Kylee TiradoPublished 5 years ago β€’ 1 min read

Oh little busy bee, what a pleasure it is that you've arrived to me.

Oh courageous bee, far-off from home in the woodland hive. Incredibly thankful am I that you are alive.

Oh well-mannered bee, I do aspire to give you the perfect flowers you desire.

Oh wise bee, you know much more than me. Simply buzzing so carelessly as you fill up your pollen pack from the stamen of a lilac.

Oh happy bee, you're covered in pollen from your antennae to your abdomen. I must say you are quite the showmen.

Oh sunny bee, I'm sure you must be off towards the horizon. Until we meet once again in the garden. Sincerely your friend Miss dandelion.
