Flow-ahs for My Rosy Slender

The Beauty within Our Nature's Colour

By Ashley RossPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

They burst and they pop,

They thrive and they jive,

Bright sunshine sunflowers

and lavender, both smelling divine.

A gift from me to you whilst dancing in the sun,

From dusk till dawn, we breathe as one.

Our serendipitous love amongst crystal tulip petals

And dandelion fluff performing balancing acts upon thy chin.

Moving form from jive to a place where you feel emotion through colour.

Now. It can truly begin.

Psew shew as the wind starts to blow,

I watch your hair dancing in the breeze

And your skin sparkle like fine droplets in the snow.

Of course, it’s my rose tinted glasses that allow me to cast my eyes upon your beauty

But even without so, your curvaceous figure warms my chest with a rosy glow.

I’m struck by your grasp and energy that entangles my body’s electricity.

You pull me through and strike yet another chord

to play the strings of my heart’s song.

Confused and enervated but comforted by blades of sweet grass stroking my cheeks in the field,

It’s simply your slender finger tips tracing circles over my longing mouth.

Immersed in sprightly fields bursting with bright flow-ahs;

Your silver spoon speaks of flowers but my tongue knows no more, only less.

So forgive me my love but the lexis I speak builds the roots of a forbiddance

To compose such beauty and feel the heat within,

There, awaits a burning fire oozing from your skin.

Whilst your world

builds and develops,

creates and capitalises,

destroys, and often wins,

It is mine that sends ever powerful shrubs peaking up through pavements,

Out of the cracks and into the warm yellow sun,

There to lie until the day is done.

Because for My Rosy Slender,

I part with an eternal gift: The beauty within our nature’s colour.

My words would be unjust for the longing yet bemusing need for your acceptance.

So here, Flow-ahs for My Rosy Slender.
