Floating Crystalline Trees
a poem inspired by amazing ice-storms, common during Canadian winter season

Floating Crystalline trees, oh how they gleam. Casting rainbows in the bright moonbeam. Their bases long dissolved in the ether. But free to wander carefree together.
Once firmly fixed in the fertile earth below. Now they drift wherever winds may blow. Their facets catching glimpses of the night sky. As they twirl and drift so magically on by.
A vision to behold, a marvel all should see. These floating crystalline trees, so mystical and free. Tinkling mystically with each and every sway. As on the currents they softly floats away.
No longer grounded, but still shining bright. These crystalline trees know joy in their flight. In the starry void, finding their place. Their beauty and mystery never to deface.
So let us gaze on this enchanting sight. Of floating crystalline trees, aglow with light. For they remind us to release earthly ties. And see wonders through wondering eyes.

Howdy, I am trying to figure out how to do this. I joined a couple of years ago, but I was fighting for my life with cancer. I so love your poems. I was revoked on Medium. I am broke. and I am trying to rebuild my life. I was recently fired from my job too. We are a "Right to Work" state in Oklahoma. I guess that means they can fire you at will. Hugs to you. -Wayne from MEDIUM
