I reach out and
you take my hand
we leave the ground
and rise up through
the blue sky
soaring higher
through the
atmosphere
past a million stars
twinkling with delight
between dimensions
our hearts pounding
a melodic rhythm
synchrony
symphony
souls weightless
free flying
where angels
sing
the song of
the saints
we split the air
with silken
velocity
ripples
the velvet heavens
we can see the
earth far below
and a sense of
awe permeates
our souls as
we gaze upon
Creation from
a new perspective
breathtaking beauty
all around us
as we close our eyes
and let the universe
flow over us
like sparkling
waves
two hearts
one beat
brilliant colors flash
and dance as we
cartwheel
along the waves
bending the strands
of sound
sending
kaleidoscopic
ripples
as far as the eye
can see
we fly back
slipping between
the dimensions
through the bluest
sky and I feel
the cool grass
under my feet
as I look at
the vivid colors
of the world
around us
with new eyes
let's go again
tomorrow.
