A candle flickered,
Captured by Season’s wind
Torn this way and that,
A changing in motion
Captured between
Departing and entering,
Chasing and following-
The sudden burst of adrenaline
That follows pent up
Emotion of uncertainty,
When a decision is chosen,
A thread is captured-
The only hope being
That the flame continues
To sputter and flicker,
Against a wind set
On extinguishing.

Mystifies me, how someone as youthful as you is able to take complex human conditions and experiences and put them into such a few words.
