Thank you for taking the time to comment. In addition, I appreciate you taking the time to read my works of art. More than all that I love your desire to enjoy the meaning and emotion the words are meant to convey. I’m gratified that you found it thought provoking, it’s meant to be that way. I particularly enjoy writing works that carry multiple interpretations. Often they can have many interesting interpretations.
Perhaps this may help explain myself and the motivations behind writing this work in such a manner. We need to understand that having only 17 syllables in a 5-7-5 format does impose some limits on in depth explanation and expression.
Consider the circumstance of U.S. Veteran’s fighting for “freedom”. Sacrificing themselves with the goal of maintaining a “free” U.S… The picture was to be interpreted as a Veteran's Cemetery specifically Arlington National displayed with a gorgeous fall tree over the headstones of heroes . Beauty in/of the fall, a fallen soldier, the beauty of sacrifice for others.
The U.S. is considered the foremost “free” country in the world, one that includes many veterans-heroes. Many lives have been saved and also ended by someone paying the ultimate price. The price of death earned while fighting for freedom, thus free from freedom. In a matter of speaking, they freed themselves from the very fight for freedom they intended to maintain. Ultimate freedom being death- finally free. This type of thought can also be applied towards the life of leaves and trees in nature. The leaves leave in the “fall”. There are other meanings as well, think relationships and how they sometimes end, faithfully forever. At least these were the most targeted messages. Make of it whatever you may enjoy it to be. That’s the beauty in art! It’s all good! I hope I explained my intent and ultimate interpretations. With love and respect!

The idea of being free from freedom... I have to wrap my head around it.
