Flames

Light Up the Sky

Flames of love

Crackling, growing, snapping,

Jumping restlessly stretching,

Flickering with life

Finding, probing, embracing

Dangerous like a knife

Touching, creating, dancing

Playful but relentless

Restless but not reckless

Shifting, approaching, affecting

Blazing with confidence

And intensity

Warming, falling, teaching

Penetrating, supporting, climbing

Caressing, pointing, reaching

The flames become special

They are near the heart

The stronger they get

They become a huge part

Never thought a spark so small

Could overcome the toughest wall

But just a tiny flame

Can burn and survive

It thrives within

And shows you are alive

The love from the soul

Shows what we feel

The flames that you find

Will always be real.

Much love, K
